  specific requirements -
  • An ideal candidate must have at least 3-4 years of relevant experience with an established e-commerce player or a start-up. Marketing degree is welcomed but not required with relevant work experience
  • Possesses knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing, working knowledge of principles of SEO including keyword research and strong understanding of social media
  • Desire to learn, understand and excel on the offline marketing front as well
  • Must be comfortable working in a challenging, yet highly rewarding start-up atmosphere
  • Must maintain excellent writing and language skills
  • Must be Passionate, Creative, Flexible and extremely Persistent

Schoolkart.com is an exciting, funded and rapidly growing start-up and we are looking at immediately hiring for the position of ‘Marketing Manager’.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • You will be responsible for the online and offline marketing functions within our start-up and will report to the CEO
  • Build and manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant such as email and ad campaigns
  • Run regular social promotions and campaigns and track their success (e.g. Twitter chats, LinkedIn discussions, etc.)
  • Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from our social network presence
  • Track, measure, and analyze all initiatives to report on social media
  • Grow our subscriber base by providing them with regular, helpful content that’s aligned with their needs and interest
  • Manage both on-page SEO and off-page SEO for the company
  • Manage the strategy and setup of all paid campaigns
  • Executing the offline marketing strategy, assisting in campaign development, developing lead generation programs, and analysis of campaign effectiveness. This will include reaching out to Schools across the country and also working with multiple school uniform vendors to set up tripartite offline marketing campaigns
  • Ensuring that all creative marketing materials undergo brand review and adhere to strict brand guidelines
  • Managing Third party liaisons with entities such as schools, vendors, brands, NGOs etc
